- Accessing a database found on Mobile Device (Pocket PC)
cdbReadNext (Function) In french: cdbLitSuivant Sets the position on the next data file file record and reads this record. In most cases, cdbReadNext is used to position in the data file during a browse loop. After the call to cdbReadNext, if the data file is empty, no reading is performed and cdbOut returns True. Caution: From Windows Mobile 5, the access to a standard database (tasks, contacts, appointments, ...) can no longer be performed from a Windows application (and therefore from a standard WINDEV application). | | | | | Accessible from the PC | Accessible from the simulator | Accessible from the Mobile Device (Pocket PC) | CDB database | Yes | Yes | Yes | Standard database | No | No | Yes |
// Read the first record found in Customer file cdbReadFirst("MyDatabase", "Customer") // Record outside the file? WHILE cdbOut("MyDatabase", "") = False // Process the record cdbReadNext("MyDatabase", "") ... END
// Standard "Contacts" database // Read the first record cdbReadFirst("", cdbContact) // Record outside the file? WHILE cdbOut("", "") = False // Process the record cdbReadNext("", "") ... END
