Events associated with framesets

From version 18, the framesets are available for backward compatibility with the former sites. However, they are not supported in HTML 5 and they are not recommended for the referencing and/or for the navigation from mobile devices. We advise you to replace the framesets by pages that share page templates and/or control templates.
Events managed by default WEBDEV manages the following events by default (order of appearance in the code editor): | | | Event | Runtime condition |

| Declaration of global variables (Server code) | Declaring the variables global to the frameset. This is the first code run when opening the frameset. | | Initialization (Server code) | Run when opening the frameset.
The events are run in the following order:- Initializing the frameset.
- Initializing the controls found in the pages (frameset).
- Initializing the frameset pages.
Remark: To run in priority the initialization code of a specific page, use ContextOpen and specify the name of this page. | | Synchronization of frameset (Server code) | Server code used to manage the frameset synchronization when using the browser "Back" button. For more details, see Managing the browser "Back" button. | | Closing the frameset (Server code) | Run when closing the frameset. |
Remark: Only the browser codes are available in a static frameset. Several optional events can be managed. To add an optional event: - Select the desired control.
- Display the code window of this control (F2 key).
- Click the link "Add other events to xxx" at the bottom of the window code, after the last event.
- All the optional events available for the control are displayed.
- Check the optional event to add and validate.
Remark: You can select several optional events. - The selected optional event is automatically added to the events managed by the control.
To disable an optional event, simply perform the same operations to display the list of optional events. Then simply uncheck the optional events to delete.
Remark: If the disabled code contains WLanguage code, this code is automatically deleted. You can manage, for example: - left mouse button down, up, with a double click,
- right button down, up, with double click, ...
