• run MENU.EXE (located at the root of the installation package) and select "Setup".
• directly run INSTALL.EXE, located at the root of the installation package.

• WEBDEV Application Server 2024 can be installed with earlier versions (9 to 28), WEBDEV Deployment 7 and WEBDEV Deployment 1.5 on the same computer.
• Do not install the WEBDEV 2024 Application Server in the same directory as an earlier version.
• If a problem occurs during the installation, delete the installation directory and restart the setup procedure.
• Don't forget to read the WEBDEV Application Server help, (WDAdmin_Deployment_Windows_EN.pdf file) located in the installation package. Acrobat Reader is required to view this file. This file contains the necessary information about the installation and configuration of the WEBDEV Application Server. To install the WEBDEV 2024 Application Server

1. Run MENU.EXE, located at the root of the installation package of WEBDEV deployment version.
2. Specify the installation directory of the WEBDEV Application Server ("C:\WEBDEV 2024" by default).
3. Select "Install 32-bit WEBDEV Application Server" or "Install 64-bit WEBDEV Application Server".
4. Enter the WEBDEV serial key. This key can be found in the installation package download message.
5. Specify the type of setup:
   • full: This type of setup is used to install the modules required by the WEBDEV Application Server.
   • custom: This type of setup allows you not to install some optional modules of the WEBDEV Application Server.
6. Specify whether the WEBDEV Application server also hosts sites in previous versions.
   Caution: in this case, the WEBDEV Application Servers in earlier version will be disabled.
7. Specify whether the ODBC driver for HFSQL should be installed.
8. Configure the installation directory of the AWP protocol manager for WEBDEV (WDAWP.EXE).
   By default, this protocol manager is installed in the WEBDEV installation directory.
9. Specify whether the remote administration site should be accessed in secure mode.
   Caution: To use this option, all the requirements related to the SSL protocol must be met (buy an SSL certificate from a specific organization and install it).
10. The installation starts. When installing WEBDEV, the Web server for the CGI protocol is automatically configured for the following Web servers:
    • Apache 2.x.
    • IIS version 5 to 10: Microsoft Windows server.
    If the Apache server is detected on the setup computer, it is automatically configured. In some cases, specific information may be required to manage manual Apache settings (Easy php, Wamp, etc.).
    If the Apache server is not installed, IIS is automatically configured on the systems later than Windows Vista.
    On systems that use IIS 5 or 6 or without Web server, you can install an Apache server and configure it automatically.
